I just got this stroller a few days ago and so far I love it. My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves to ride in it. She has plenty of room and loves playing peek a boo with her brother (11 weeks) next door. My son seems happy when we walk. I have only put him in the seat on our walks but I did test it out with my carseat in the store and it is an easy feature to install. I love that on the back of each shade is a big pocket( which closes) that can hold your stuff (cell phone, camera, keys....). The basket below is big and looks like it will do the job. I have only put a few things in it so far. It is easy to access and isn't blocked like some strollers.
I have only have found 2 "cons" so far. In the reclined position and the sunshade all the way forward, it still doesn't block the sun from getting in my son's face. I will have to get a sunshade since we live in the south but that isn't a big deal. It works great if the carseat is insalled.
Second, it does not fold compactly. It takes up most of the back of my Envoy. It is hard to pick up and put it in the car but I am not totally back in shape from having the baby. I know once I get stronger and load/unload it a few times it will be easier.
All the parents in the neighborhood have given me tons of compliments on my new stroller. We are the first to have 2 kids so they are definately checking it out for future reference.

| This is the best stroller ever, I love it, and I did quite a bit of research before deciding to purchase thhe bumbleride indie twin, but I am so happy with my decision. My 2 year old son loves this stroller and he has plenty of room to move, and with the leg rest that goes up or down it makes naps much more comfy. my 4month old rides in it with the car seat which is wonderful and hard to find on an all terrain side by side. This stroller has gone everywhere with my family and I constantly get stopped on the street for questions and compliments on such a great stroller. People are amazed that it actually does fit through all doorways an has amazing steering I can steer one handed with both children in it. The only thing is that it is big it doe tak up about 80% of the trunk of my subaru forrester. But i suppose for all the pros that is ok by me. i hope this review helps someone out there. It really is a great and beautiful stroller, very well made. |

| I have owned 4 double strollers and the Indie Twin is by far the best. Take into account that it is a double stroller so yes it is a bit heavy and a bit big to store. I can manage to lift it up just fine into the back of my Suburban and I still have more than enough room for groceries. I have seen a few complaints about the seats being narrow. I am 5"3' 100 lbs and I can sit in these seats just fine so I'm sure any child will make do. It is very easy to fold up however the latches they put on to lock it while folded do not work very well. As soon as you pick it up they pop off. I just got a little bungy cord and it seems to do the trick. Unfolding it is a little difficult because you have to hold the handle with one hand while you pull the bottom out from underneith. After a few uses you kind of get the hang of it. I have fit in and out of every door way including my house door! Even with the infant car seat adapter in. This stroller almost pushes itself. It just glides right over grass, dirt, gravel you name it. It also turns on a dime with little effort. It was well worth the money! |

I am still waiting for my newest baby to arrive to really test this out but I have taken my son (2 years old) and our neighbor (also 2). The ride is very smooth making pushing and turning a breeze. I am still not used to the size of double strollers but its fits through my front door just fine (minus the cupholder). I have also tested the fit of my baby trend flex-loc car seat and it fits great. The canopies are good but I was hoping for a little more. My baby trend single stroller has a hinge so that the canopy can be moved all the way to the front of the stroller and I just wish the bumbleride had this feature.
The description seems to be for the 2008 model even though I am pretty sure this is for the 2009 model based on price. There is no bumper bar or footmuff included in the 2009 model. However a rain cover is included now. I was disappointed that they got rid of the bumper bar but I still love the stroller. I will be sure to update my review after I get some real use out of it. |

| I love this stroller! I have had it for 18 months and my daughters are 3 years and 16 months old I am expecting a third baby in about a month and I can not ask for a better stroller. The company is great if you have a problem just call them and they will immediately send you a replacement part no questions asked. my rear tire valve got a split in it after about 14 months use and they sent me an entire new tire to just pop back in to replace the other tire. Great customer service. I recommend this stroller to everyone. It is the easiest to push I wanted a stroller that I could push and steer with one hand and this one is great! large basket underneath and very sturdy yet pretty lightweight considering it is a double stroller with inflatable tires. The individual seat adjustment is perfect for children of different ages and it has the largest sun canopy that I have seen on a stroller. It never tips backwards when I hook 2 diaper bags on the handle great balance. The only complaint that I have is that they do not make it for 3 children! If you want a stroller that you will love - then you need to buy this one - I absolutely love it! |

| I got this stroller for my twins and love it. It's easy to push and turn. It is not compact when folded and is heavier, but these things can be overlooked. The one thing that does bother me, but it's true for all side by sides is that you can only put one car seat in it. To remedy this we bought a snap and go for while they are in their infant seats. When we use the stroller we put them both directly in the stroller, or one in the front pack and our 3 year old will hitch a ride in it. Overall this is a well made product and is really beautiful as well. I highly recommend it. |

| This is an amazing stroller! After owning EIGHT strollers including high end ones such as Phil and Teds Vibe and the Bugaboo Cameleon, this one tops them all. We had a great experience with our Bugaboo for our first child but when number two came, the beloved Bugaboo was obsolete. But we still wanted the feel of the Bugaboo. I had heard of the Phil and Teds Vibe and was excited but once I got it, it was such a pain in the butt to use. I got rid of it and got my 8th and final stroller, the Bumbleride Indie Twin. There are so many wonderful videos and reviews of this stroller online and I looked at them all. This stroller is around $659 and it was worth every penny. It's cheaper than the Bugaboo and the Phil and Teds Vibe. I was soooo happy when it arrived and was able to put it together by myself in less than half an hour. I purchased Seagrass which was absolutely beautiful. The stroller glides wonderfully and it handles so lightly you would never know it was a double. It does fit through my front door way and I have no problems with it at the mall or stores. Funny thing though people forget to mention is when they go through the parking lot, you can't squeeze through cars anymore since this is a double. Not a problem though, a little extra walking never hurt anyone. It's easy to fold and at 34 lbs it's not too bad. I thought it would be heavy but when you're using it, you're not really feeling the weight. The storage basket is gigantic! I also bought the snack trays and they are handy. The infant adapter is easy to use but if you do have the larger Graco Safeseat like I do, it does tend to be a little wider. The brake is easy to use. The only con if there is one, is that the 2009 locks, are really not that great. They are hard to get on and pretty much just little plastic pieces that don't look like the quality matches the rest of the stroller. That didn't stop me from giving this stroller all 5 stars! It's not hard to lift into the car without locking. I thought it was going to be a little snug in my 2009 Highlander but it fit wonderfully with lots of room leftover. Fantastic stroller and would recommend over and over again. I will not be needing another stroller for a long, long time. |

2008 Bumbleride Indie Twin in Spice:
I bought a brand new year old stroller. I found a 10% coupon on one of those [...] type sites and free shipping. I did not buy from here because i found it cheaper elsewhere last minute, but I buy everything from here so...
-I have a 2 year old daughter and a newborn son
-My car seat is a Chicco key fit
-I have a Ford Expedition
-I am 5'5 and my husband is 6'
Your car seat might alter your double stroller choice. My three choices were the BOB double stroller, the Baby Jogger City Mini double stroller and the Bumbleride Indie Twin. My car seat didn't fit into any of the above choices other than the Bumbleride. I would have had to buy a new car seat to fit into the other strollers. Let that guide your decision.
Pro's for the Bumbleride: small enough to fit through regular door frames if you keep the cup holder off. It fits into my doctors office. It turns very easily. I can stere with one hand. I also walk my dog with this everyday. The car seat adapter comes with the stroller. The sunshade works better than the original stroller's sunshade when using he car seat. Adjustable handle works well for my husband and I. It came with a jogging strap and a rain shade, but I haven't used them yet.
Con's for he Bumbleride: pretty expensive if you can't find a coupon and shipping. The seats recliner does not use a lever or latch. It uses some kind of belt mechanism. It is super heavy to put in my big SUV. It is super bulky in the trunk and takes up most of the available space. It is a little complicated to fold because there are multiple steps.
My assessment: I have 3 single strollers and I hate them all including the stroller that came with my car seat. I use my stroller a lot because I walk my dog and I go walking a lot. I pretty much use it ever day. My 2 year old does sit in a stroller, God Bless her. I do bribe her with movies on my itouch and a constant supply of pretzels or fishy's. I need to have kids in strollers so I can get things done. This is the best stroller I have ever used. A jogging stroller is important to me because I do walk outside just about everyday and regular strollers are very difficult to use outside. I recommend basing your stroller buying on what car seat you already have. Safe a few bucks if you can... these things are expensive!! |
Very bad stroller - do not waste your money

I have the 2008 Indie Twin. From the beginning it had problems. At first Bumbleride customer care was nice and sent me replacements for the pieces that kept breaking. But now they want me to pay $25 plush sipping for each of the 4 wheels (all of them worn out multiple times after just a couple of hours a day of city use for 14 months, not even every day). Right rear wheel went completely flat and we had to call home to be picked up by car because the stroller could not be moved at all. I checked tires just the day before and they were inflated properly. The stroller wiggles, and the tires wear and get damaged, resulting in the tube being exposed and eventually breaking. The moment I walk a little faster with this stroller, one of the front wheels not properly catching the ground gets perpendicular to the direction of the stroller and the stroller gets stuck. The tires never evenly catch the ground, which is why they keep breaking; this stroller has no balance whatsoever. Dealing with these problems has caused me so much aggravation, I do not think any other stroller, single or double is this bad. It is unbelievable that it cannot handle this after just 14 month of use, all in the city.
The stroller is badly engineered and badly made. Buy it only if you expect to constantly deal with requesting replacements and only need it for 1 year (that is how long the warranty is, as I was told).
