The BOB Revolution Duallie is the most versatile BOB two-seated stroller on the market. What is truly "revolutionary" about the stroller is the pivoting front wheel that swivels for nimble and agile movement. The Revolution turns on a dime, but the innovation does not stop there. The front wheel can lock into a fixed position for jogging or off-road use. The strong, welded frame is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy that is lightweight and durable—weighing 33.2 pounds. The padded, stain-resistant seats are soft and cushy, recline up to 70 degrees from vertical, and have the standard five-point harness to provide maximum stability and comfort. The full, independent sun canopies provide ample shade and protection from the elements for your little passengers. The canopy windows allow you to keep a watchful eye as well. The suspension system sports three-inch coil springs with an elastomer core and two settings for bigger and smaller children, and it has 16-inch semi-slick, all-purpose rear tires and a 12.5-inch front tire. The wheel rims are constructed of high-impact composite polymer, and the hubs feature a quick release axle and cartridge bearings. The caliper handbrake slows the stroller with ease, while the foot-activated "parking brake" is simple and handy. Storage is not a problem with twin interior seat pockets, a large below-seat storage basket, and a deep seatback pocket. The two-step fold can be done in one motion, and the lightweight frame makes it portable and stowable. Removing the wheels decreases the height and length when storing in tight spaces. The handlebar height is 41 inches, and the wheel base is 28.2 inches in swivel mode or 34.1 inches in jogging mode. The stroller is able to go almost anywhere, and the ride and styling can only be described as luxurious. The smartest feature by far is the ability to switch from a pivoting to a locked front wheel that allows the BOB Revolution stroller to be one of the most versatile and maneuverable strollers available. BOB recommends that children be at least eight weeks old before riding in the stroller and at least eight months old before jogging or off-road use. The Sport Utility stroller has a weight capacity of 100 pounds and 50 pounds per seat. --Scott Teal |

Yep, I went for 5 Stars

This is my first amazon review, I hope it helps. I break my silence because of the thousands of reviews I have read in my search for a double jogging stroller. Now that I'm happy with my purchase, here's my 2 cents.
Why do double strollers range from $200-$900? I don't know. Do I think this is worth $600.00, probably not, but I do know it rocks.
Everyone else has covered the specifics of the functions, here's what I know. I put my kids in (3 1/2 and 2), they are happy, I walk/jog with ease, it's lovely. They are comfy, covered and safe and I am getting in my exercise - a virtual prize for the mother of little ones! It's easy to use, collapse and adjust, what more could I want?
It's expensive, it's big (takes my whole trunk with wheels on - VW passat wagon) but it is a double stroller carrying my most precious cargo, what else was I expecting?
I'd buy it again and I'm recommending it to family, that's high honors in my book.
Thanks for listening, happy shopping. |

| Buy it, buy it now! While it does cost a lot, it is worth every penny. I purchased a Phil and Ted before buying this....it was a piece of junk compared to the double Bob. The Bob is like driving a BMW and the rest are all lemons. I couldn't be happier with this stroller....you will be too! |
Versatile Construction

Pros
- Effortless steering. You can easily push this stroller around with one hand, or with a couple fingers which is very unlike many other dual strollers. So awesome for jogging even in the sand and bumpy terrain.
- Effective stopping. You can rely on these brakes. Your stroller will not drift away from you when the brakes are set.
- 5 point harness system keeps the little ones safely in their seats.
- Sunshade canopies really block the sun even at weird angles, unlike other stroller shades.
- Side-by-side stroller which can actually FIT THROUGH REGULAR DOORS!
Cons
- Expensive. 'Nuff said.
- Underseat storage compartment is absolutely ridiculous. You Cannot Store Even An Average-Sized Diaper Bag Under There in an upright position!!! You have to resort to laying your diaper bag horizontally and cramming it in there as best as you can.
- Backside mesh compartment is not roomy either.
- No built-in cup holders. I would suggest purchasing the BOB cupholder & zippered pocket attachment you can velcro onto the handlebar if you need a handy place for your water bottle.
Overall, even with the cons, I highly recommend this stroller for parents who need a versatile jogging or go-anywhere stroller. |

Steers like a dream

I've been using a Graco Quattro double for a year and finally upgraded to the Bob Duallie.
This stroller steers like a dream compared to my front & back stroller. Even though the two may weigh about the same this stroller feels a lot lighter. This stroller may be wider because it's a side by side but I can get through more spaces because of the easy steering.
I only gave it a four star because of the following reasons:
1) I think if you're paying this much money for a stroller the cup holder should be included.
2) They should design it so that at least one strap on one side of the basket can snap off so it's easier to put things in and take things out. Granted many people may be using this solely for jogging and may not care about the basket but it seems like a simple change to make it more accessable.
3) Once you fold it up there's no mechanism to keep it that way. That's a hassle if you put it in and take it out of the car a lot. |
Don't Bother Looking at ANY other strollers!! This is ALL you need

Let me start by saying I know what I'm talking about I've had enough strollers I've got thousands invested in strollers over the last 3yrs
The Jeep Overland Jogging Stroller
The Graco Car Seat and Stroller Combo
Bob Revolution Stroller in Navy
Stokke Xplory (complete system)
Maclaren Quest Stroller
Peg Perego Aria Twin
and the LAST Stroller I will EVER BUY
The Bob Duallie Stroller
I just bought this one for 512. I must have gotten the last orange one because they only have the Navy one left.
I LOVE THIS STROLLER!!! I loved it as a single Stroller (I was in Stroller strides and it was great) and I LOVE it as a double.
The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because when you try and fold it and put it in the trunk....I have a Jeep Commander and it takes up almost the WHOLE trunk...so I don't know how or if you could get it into a car. It's VERY difficult to fold and hoist up. But I will trade that for the EASE of use
I have a 41lb 3yr old gymnast and a 27lb ballerina and in my other stroller I went round in circles because the stroller couldn't handle the weight difference. Honestly you'd think they weighed NOTHING in this stroller. I have taken it for a walk, we go every saturday to the farmers market and the park. It's SO EASY....and THIS STROLLER DOES FIT THROUGH MOST STANDARD DOORWAYS!!!! So if that is why you aren't buying it..then BUY IT!!!
I know it's expensive....and my advice would be SNATCH UP THE NAVY ONE THAT IS 512.00 ON HERE!!! I got my orange one thinking it was made in 2006....it was made Jan of 09!! Normally they are 589.00 So BUY IT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!
Don't bother Looking at other strollers....they won't work, you will break your back pushing it!
One other thing....the basket isn't FABULOUS....BUT IT WORKS! It's made for a diaper bag....and I had the diaper bag that clipped onto the single bob stroller and it was great! I would reccomend getting it! Also...you MUST buy the Stroller console! It holds your drink/water bottles and the zippered pocket will hold your money and keys and iPod.
Get this stroller....make it your Mother's day present! But do it while it's still on Sale! YOu will be so happy! |
Wish we got it sooner

We should have purchased this sooner, point blank.
We've been trying to get by with one stroller with two kids (19 mos and 3.75 yrs), but as we've been doing more and more outside, our oldest will get tired after a time, and neither of us can carry him for long distances (over 1/2-mile). Thus, the need for a dependable double stroller that can handle the city, the trails and the beach. I think we've found it and after a two-hour walk in the neighborhood the other day. This baby is wonderful, easy to maneuver, and pushes like a dream. Our current stroller is a Quinny Buzz and though it's a single, the BOB Revolution truly is above it 100%. I wish we had asked for the single Revolution when Kid#1 arrived.
We debated between the SUS and the Revolution, but neither of us run and our nanny (and we) go to our local indoor market, where a fixed-wheel stroller is a liability, especially on Saturday mornings. From all my readings, you can fix the front wheel and do light jogging and power-walking.
It's certainly not cheap, but it is a well-built stroller and actually more of an heirloom than most.
Lastly, I agree that the console should come with the stroller. |
